Enter this historic house through an oak studded door surrounded by colourful hydrangeas in summer. The arched entrance hall leads into a spacious open plan living area with a comfy pair of sofas, coffee table, television, and traditional wood-burning stove at one end; and a kitchen/dining area at the other. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and a washing machine. Also situated on the ground floor is a games room with a dart board, pool table (50p), and electric organ.
A Victorian pitch pine staircase leads up from the hallway to the first floor. On this floor there is a delightful 4 poster double bedroom with exquisite pine furniture and a vanity unit. Also on the first floor is a spacious bathroom with wc, hand basin, deep full-size bath and separate shower en suite. The stairway then rises to the second floor where there are two further large bedrooms. One is a bright and sunny double room and the other, a charming twin bedded room; both littered with attractive pitch-pine furniture, Bed linen is provided on all beds, but if towels are requested they are available at an extra charge. The house normally sleeps 6 people but additional beds or cots can be provided on request.
